Rapé
Rapé is a traditional mixture made by tribes in the Amazon rainforest. The base of this powder is blended with ashes from other traditional medicinal plants and herbs. Because of this, every rapé has its own essence and character.
In my experiences with these rapés, I have tried to describe how they work and what they can be used for. Yet, they may feel different depending on the person and the circumstances in which they are used. So I always encourage you to discover for yourself how you relate to a specific rapé.
When connecting with rapé, intention is an important part of the work. In a way, it is similar to when you visit a doctor, you don’t do so without a reason or a sense of what you are looking for. You are working with a sacred mixture, so it is worth asking yourself: what is your intention in this moment?
