Everyone has their own path of remembering their connection to spirit. In my personal journey during this life, I have felt the calling to work with plants. This calling lead me to the plants of the Amazon rainforest at the beginning of my twenties. I feel blessed that I have had the opportunity to travel there to take part in traditional ceremonies and rituals. During my journeys I got inspired by the transformational capacity of these traditional medicines. They have brought me closer to myself, nature and deepened my connection to spirit. Over the years I have gathered quite a collection of the ones that I have worked with. Inspired by the magic and mystery of the jungle I starting working on a project that is now starting to blossom.

My vision with Mariri is to be a bridge for those who are called to re-connect with spirit through the use of plants. Mariri refers to 'the spirit of a plant' in the ancient Inca Quechua language. When receiving the Mariri, you receive the force of a plant. I have felt that when you ingest a plant, it is not just working with you on a molecular, physical level, as it is seen from a Western medicine view. When ingesting a plant, I receive and connect with the spirit of the plant as well. Plants became my spiritual guides in that way. They carry a lot of wisdom and are open to help those who feel this calling. 

Over the past years I have been helping people to connect with the medicine of plants. This happens for example by sharing rapé with them. Now I feel it is the time to share my collection through this website. I am by no means claiming to be a master of plants. I am just a humble student of this work. What I am doing here is simply what I love the most; sharing a possibility to connect with the medicine of plants and nature. What a gift and joy to do so. 

Thanks to the Great Spirit, for all of creation. My gratitude to Father Sun, the loving father that provides with the light needed for all life. Thank you Mother Earth, the sweet mother that is our home and the garden of all medicines. I give thanks to the forest, the natural pharmacy of the world. To all plants, in all their beautiful forms. Thanks to the indigenous people of the Amazon, welcoming & sharing their wisdom and ancestral medicines. May their home & work be protected and respected. Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude!
